British Aphasiology Society Conference 2021

Welcome to the British Aphasiology Society Conference 2021 website.

Join us virtually for the BAS conference in September 2021, hosted by Newcastle University.

UPDATE: BAS 2021 is almost here! A warm welcome, in anticipation, to the BAS conference, virtually hosted by Newcastle University. Registered speakers and delegates will be receiving a welcome email and invitation to join the conference platform prior to the conference start . Once you have this, you can create your profile and you will be able to explore the programme and begin, should you wish, to watch and read some of the pre-recorded presentations and poster materials.

If you have not registered, please see information on the registration tab and for the updated programme visit the programme tab.

We look forward to welcoming you to an excellent online conference experience, allowing us to come together to discuss aphasiology and to network. Speech and Language Sciences at Newcastle University are delighted to be hosting the event though disappointed not to be welcoming you in person. We have an interactive and exciting event, with opportunities to get to know each other and Newcastle, albeit virtually!

The event, hosted across three days, will cover a wide range of current topics relevant to researchers and clinicians interested in aphasia and related communication disorders.

Our prestigious keynote speakers join us from across the globe, with interests reflecting the ever increasing diversity and complexity of aphasia.

If you have any queries or questions, contact the conference committee at bashelp@ncl.ac.uk or  aphasia@newcastle.ac.uk
