The Daedalus Lecture will be suitable for a sixth form level audience. It will focus on the future and, in particular, on how molecular machines might be built to perform useful tasks. Some aspects might not be too serious but will challenge the imagination. There will be an opportunity to talk with the lecturer afterwards. Staff will be on-hand to answer any scientific questions that might arise.

There is no need to register for the lecture.

The lecture should finish by 7 pm.

The Boiler House is located on King’s Road on the main campus of Newcastle University. It is a 5 minute walk from Haymarket Metro Station.
