DIG2017 talks to be video recorded

We are pleased to annouce that thanks to generous funding from Newcastle University conference fund, we will be able to offer video recording of all the talks at DIG2017. We will be joined by Doug Rocks-McQueen who has provided video recording and editing services to a range of archaeology conferences and seminars around the UK. The videos will be made available online through YouTube after the conference, via Doug's Recording Archaeology page, and the Castles and Coprolites geoarchaeology page. In this way we can ensure that DIG2017 reaches a wide audience, including people who may not be able to travel to the conference to participate in person.

Whilst we would encourage participants to do so where possible we understand that not everyone is comfortable with being filmed, and presenters are not obliged to have their talks recorded.  Authors will be contacted once the final programme is complete, and asked to confirm whether or not they are happy to be included.
