EMSEA is holding their first ever fundraiser during the conference. We will host a silent auction during the drinks reception on Tuesday evening in the Great North Museum. 

Fund travel bursaries

The proceeds of the silent auction in Newcastle will provide travel bursaries for future EMSEA conferences. The idea is for delegates to bring an item, eg:

• books
• games
• education resources
• jewellery
• outdoor gear
• crafts/artwork
• gift certificates
• guided tour events  

The success of the silent auction will rely on the generosity of the conference attendees.

Donate a themed item

We would be grateful if all conference attendees could donate an item for the auction.

Ideally we would like everyone to donate an item that represents where they live or any treasures that may bring a high bid.

We think it would be fun to have a whole range of different regional marine-themed items.
