Giacomo Bergami

Giacomo Bergami received a PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 2018. He is a Lecturer and Assistant Professor in Game Technology at Newcastle University. He has designed algorithms for big data solutions that outperform relational, document-oriented, and graph databases. His research interests span areas from microservice orchestration to data integration and Verified Artificial Intelligence (temporal, natural language processing). He is part of the Program Committee of IDEAS and SimBIG, and is also the editor of the SOCA journal.
