Our second annual workshop took place in September 2024 and focused on:

• Advances in quantum technologies and communication systems
• Post-quantum cryptography and algorithmic security
• Industry-academic collaborations

Featured speakers included leading voices from academia and companies working at the frontier of quantum technology and cyber-security.

Newton-Q 2023

The inaugural Newton-Q Workshop was held in September 2023, launching an inter-school initiative to promote collaboration across quantum science, computing and cyber security.

It featured invited talks and research presentations focused on laying the groundwork for Newcastle’s growing engagement with quantum and post-quantum research and innovation.
