Global Water Security Symposium

Celebrating 70 years of water and environmental health research at Newcastle University

We invite participation in a debate on how to best achieve the human right to water and sanitation for all. This global water security symposium will combine keynotes by eminent speakers from industry and academia with lightning talks by participants and open forum discussions on key 21st century challenges for the global water sector.

With this event, we are celebrating 70 years of water and public health research at Newcastle University, and the recent award of the Global Water Security and Sustainable Development Hub to Newcastle University and its associated partners by the Global Challenges Research Fund.
